4 killed in head-on Ohio highway crash

PAULING — Four people were killed in a crash on US 24 in Paulding County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

According to OSHP, a semi traveled off the left side of the road, through the median and hit a Honda Pilot head-on. Both vehicles came to a rest to the north of the road, OSHP says.

Driver 35-year-old Amin Humaidi and passengers 40-year-old Nadia Humaidi, 21-year-old Rajaa Humaidi, and 3-year-old Asmaa Humaidi were all pronounced dead at the scene, OSHP says.

Hamzah Humaidi, 14, a passenger in the Pilot, was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital. Gary Woods, the driver of the semi, was also transported for injuries, according to OSHP.

The crash is still under investigation, according to OSHP.
