Huber Heights woman accused of stealing wild turtles facing felony charges

HUBER HEIGHTS — A Huber Heights woman is facing two felonies and several misdemeanors after she was accused stealing turtles and illegally selling wild animals, according to an indictment.

Kelly Blore was indicted on seven charges this afternoon by a Montgomery County grand jury, records show.

Blore is accused of stealing turtles worth more than $1,000, but less that $7,500 from the state of Ohio, according to the indictment.

She’s also accused of illegally catching frogs or turtles without a valid fishing license. Blore also was accused of not keeping proper records.

The crimes are said to have been committed between January 2016 and August 2020.

She’s due in court on March 30 for an arraignment.
