LOGAN COUNTY — A semi-leaking diesel fuel prompted a response in Logan County on Wednesday.

Crews were dispatched to State Route 47 W in Bellefontaine at 4:02 p.m. on initial reports of a semi leaking.
Firefighters responded and found a hole “in the bottom of one of the saddle tanks,” the Logan County HazMat team said on social media.

“Before our arrival, Bellefontaine Fire did a great job containing the leak with the floor dry and setting up diking and damming maneuvers,” HazMat said.
They continued to contain the leak as a wrecker responded.
Crews cleaned up the fuel and the wrecked left with the semi.
Bellefontaine Fire and Police assisted.
