KETTERING — Kettering police the FBI and a HAZMAT team were called to the Kettering Women’s Center Wednesday after a package containing a suspicious white powder was delivered to the business, according to Officer Tyler Johnson with Kettering Police.
Police and fire crews were called to the health center at 1377 East Stroop Road around 11:30 a.m.

Johnson said the building did not have to be evacuated, however the business was closed while the investigation is conducted.
The HAZMAT team field tested the substance and determined it was not dangerous, Johnson said.
It was not immediately clear where the package came from or how it was labeled, but the FBI was called in to assist.
There were not any injuries, Johnson said.
