Hamilton coming to Schuster Center in 2022, revised season schedule released

DAYTON — Dayton Live has announced the hit Broadway show Hamilton will be coming to the Schuster Center in 2022 for a two week engagement.

The exact dates of the shows will be announced at a later date and ticket on-sale dates also will be announced later.

“We’re thrilled to announce Hamilton’s premiere engagement in Dayton,” said Ty Sutton, President & CEO of Dayton Live (formerly Victoria Theatre Association). “We’ve been working to confirm dates for this incredible theatrical powerhouse since 2018.”

It will be the first time the show will travel to Dayton.

The announcement came coupled with an announcement of a modified 2020-2021 season, which is delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2020-2021 season will now start in January 2021 with the following shows:

Jesus Christ Superstar: Jan. 12-17, 2021

Fiddler on the Roof: Feb. 9-14, 2021

The Band’s Visit: Mar. 9-14, 2021

Disney’s The Lion King: May 6-23, 2021

Dear Evan Hansen: Jun. 8-13, 2021

Cats: July 6-11, 2021

Anastasia: July 20-25, 2021
