A Miami County grand jury has decided to re-indict a former Ohio High School Athletic Association official on felony charges of rape and tampering with evidence.
Trial was scheduled for Sept. 25 in county Common Pleas Court.
Lucas, of Troy, was again indicted last month on first-degree felony rape and a third-degree felony tampering with evidence, according to the indictment.
He is to be arraigned Tuesday.
His lawyer, Jon Paul Rion, filed a notice of appearance in the case Monday.
Lucas is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a teen between March 11 and March 15, 2017, in Troy and knowingly attempting to mislead an investigation between March 11, and June 15, 2017.
Lucas was a longtime OHSAA official. His license was suspended following his indictment in 2017.
