WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — A gas leak has caused parts of State Route 725 to be shut down on Wednesday.

Westbound SR-725 is shut down between Paragon Road and Congress Park Drive, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said it will provide an update once the road has reopened.
There is no word on whether homes or businesses have been evacuated.
