SPRINGFIELD — A national food service distribution center will hold a direct-hire job fair at its Springfield distribution center on Wednesday.
Gordon Food Service announced their job fair will be held June 2 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Those interested can apply, interview and potentially receive a job offer on the same day.

Gordon Food Service said they are looking to hire selectors, packers, freight handlers, and regional route delivery drivers in its warehouse and transportation departments.
Warehouse positions offer wages averaging between $17.64 - $18.24 an hour. Transportation positions offer wages averaging $72,000-$80,000 a year.
Gordon Food Service’s Springfield distribution center is located at 4980 Gateway Blvd.
