Firefighters, medics respond to house fire in Jefferson Township

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — Firefighters were on scene of a house fire in Jefferson Township Sunday night.

Jefferson Township firefighters were dispatched around 8:11 pm. to the 200 block of Bricker Avenue near Frazer Street, Montgomery County Regional dispatchers told News Center 7.

A caller reported the fire to 911 dispatchers Sunday night.

“The house is on fire!” a female caller told dispatchers in an audio call obtained by News Center 7. “It’s going to burn down.”

Dispatchers asked if everyone was out of the house, she answered, “Yes.”

The fire was placed under control at around 9:45 p.m. and the Red Cross is also on scene.

Several departments provided mutual aid, including Trotwood and Englewood, according to initial scanner traffic.
