The pet recovery non-profit had been putting signs in a neighborhood near where a hunter had seen Barkley on his trail cam when a homeowner stopped them and took them to his house.
The homeowner allowed Remi’s to trek through their property all week looking for Barkley.
They spotted Barkley on Wednesday, which led them to a second food station in the area where they spotted him Thursday morning, WOIO reported.
Remi’s was able to trap Barkley in the homeowner’s backyard. He did have an injury to his back leg, according to the non-profit.
Barkley was taken back home and reunited with his family.
