BETHEL TWP., Clark County — UPDATE 6:30 p.m.:
One person is dead after a crash in Clark County Friday.

The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. near N. Hampton Road and New Carlisle Pike in Bethel Twp, according to a media release by Ohio State Highway Patrol.

An initial investigation found that a Ford Escape was traveling north on North Hampton Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a Jeep Liberty.
The crash resulted in both vehicles traveling off the left side of the road on New Carlisle Pike.
The driver of the Ford Escape died from their injuries, according to OSP.
State troopers did not identify the driver or say if there were any other injuries.
