SPRINGFIELD — Police are investigating the death of a man found Friday afternoon in Springfield as suspicious.
Officers and medics were called to the 1200 block of Warder Street at 3 p.m. on reports of a deceased person.

When police and medics arrived, they located a man believed to be 66 years old in the trailer of a big rig, pronounced him deceased and determined the death did not appear to be from natural causes, according to Springfield police dispatch and our crew on scene.
The man has not been identified by name or hometown pending notification of his next of kin.
