Dayton Public Schools, teacher’s union reach tentative agreement

Union members are expected to vote on the contract at a meeting on Nov. 1.

The previous contract, which went into effect in July 2017, expired on June 30.

If passed by union members on Nov. 1, the contract would then be sent to the Dayton Public Schools Board of Education for a vote, Mahoney said.

News Center 7 has reached out to Dayton Public Schools for comment on the development. We’re awaiting a response.

We’ll update this story as we learn more.
