DARKE COUNTY — Dayton man is dead after an single-vehicle crash in northern Darke County early Thursday morning, according to deputies.

The crash was reported on Willowdell Road near Day Road, north of Versailles, around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
The driver, identified as Seth J. Davis, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
A preliminary investigation found Davis lost control of his SUV, causing it to roll multiple times and threw him from the vehicle before it came to rest in a field.
Potential contributing factors were not released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
