Alcohol is suspected as a potential cause for a Darke County crash on Beamsville-Webster Road that left a man seriously injured.
Deputies said Daniel McCarty was driving his vehicle east on Beamsville-Webster around 6:45 p.m., when he traveled off the south side of the road striking a tree.
McCarty was the only occupant of the vehicle and was transported aboard CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where deputies said he was listed in serious condition.
The Darke County Sheriff's Office was assisted on the scene by Ansonia Fire and Rescue crews.
