OAKWOOD — The Community Blood Center (CBC) is asking for donations in Oakwood today in honor of National Blood Donor Awareness Month.
The center is holding a mobile blood drive from noon to 6:00 p.m. January 4 at the Oakwood Community Center, according to CBC’s website.

Those who donate will have the chance to receive a Give Blood long-sleeve hoodie while supplies last.
Donors must be at least 17 years old and provide photo identification; that includes their full name.
