DETAILED FORECAST:
TODAY: Mainly clear and cold tonight with a low around freezing, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.
WEDNESDAY: Wednesday will be a good travel day with dry weather. Temperatures will be even milder as they rise to the middle 50s with mostly sunny skies. A few more clouds pass through Wednesday night with a low in the lower 30s.
THANKSGIVING: Overall, a quiet day is expected for Thanksgiving with gradually increasing clouds. Despite the clouds, temperatures will reach the middle the to upper 50s. Clouds thicken at night with some scattered showers arriving before daybreak on Friday.
FRIDAY: Some lingering rain showers are possible to start Friday, but most spots will begin to dry out by lunchtime. Early Black Friday shoppers should be prepared for the wet weather and temperatures in the 40s. Highs for the day will reach the lower 50s.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny and mild again on Saturday. There is a low chance of rain, but this may change in the coming days. There seems to be some disagreement with the potential for rain between Friday’s rain and rain arriving on Sunday. Highs on Saturday will reach around 50 degrees. A better chance for rain arrives Saturday night into Sunday.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with a few showers around and breezy. Highs near 50 degrees.
MONDAY: Drier with decreasing clouds and breezy for Monday. Highs in the middle 40s.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Highs in the upper 40s.
