CENTERVILLE — The Centerville Police Department has issued a warning about a recent phone scam targeting the community.
According to the police department, residents have called to report they recieved scam phone calls from someone posing as a Centerville officer. The caller has given a badge number 113 and a name of Maria.

The caller ID in the calls lists the police department’s actual phone number (937-433-7661).
Police are reminding residents these calls are not from CPD.
