It was closed between Ravenwood Road and Funderburg Road.
Video from the scene this morning shows the road has reopened.
A city spokesperson told News Center 7 that the water main break at Colonel Glenn Highway is fixed. The road reopened around 9:30 p.m.
Ronald Casey from the Montgomery County Environmental Services told News Center 7 we could see more over the next few months.
“With the temperatures changing, going from no subzero and then going into the freezing zone and then also when it peaks back up into like the 30s and 40s, you know, it’s causing the ground to shift,” he said.
Casey said its best for drivers to avoid areas as crews work to clean up water main breaks.
