Crews are currently working to fix the break, and the city expects it to be fixed by Thursday evening. According to a City of Fairborn spokesperson, the break should be fixed within four to six hours.
Fairborn residents should not experience any changes in water pressure or discoloration, the spokesperson said.
The city suggests the alternate route of Ravenwood Drive to Old Yellow Springs Road to Beaver Valley Road to Dayton Yellow Springs Road to Funderburg Road to get around construction.
