Bengals sign two free agents for upcoming season

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals have signed two unrestricted free agents ahead of the 2023 season.

Guard Max Sharping has re-signed to a one-year contract, and safety Nick Scott has signed for a three-year deal, according to the Bengals’ Twitter.

Scharping, a fifth-year player from Northern Illinois University was drafted in the second round by the Houston Texans in 2019.

Prior to the ‘22 season, he was picked up by Cincinnati on waivers after spending three seasons in Houston.

Scott is a fifth-year player from Penn State University. He was originally a seventh-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 2019.
