Nicholas Walker, 26, and Tracy McNeal, 22, ended up being arrested by Xenia Police after officers said they ran from a separate home burglary on Montana Drive later that night. Both men were taken into custody in the area of Colorado and Vermont drives.

West Carrollton Police responded to the bank around 3:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a robbery. Witnesses told police they saw Walker get into a red car and saw red smoke from a red dye pack coming from it, court records show.

Xenia police recovered more than $2500 covered in red dye while investigating the burglary in their city.

Walker, who is from Tennessee, admitted to the robbery and told police McNeal told him to do it, records read.

Police identified McNeal, of Miamisburg, as the suspected getaway driver in the bank robbery.

McNeal faces burglary charges for the Xenia burglary in addition to the robbery charge in West Carrollton.

Both men remain in jail Thursday morning.
