1 hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 12:20 p.m.:

One person was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in Dayton early Friday morning.

Officers and medics were dispatched to South Gettysburg Ave and Guthrie Rd on reports of a crash around 5:41 a.m.

A vehicle failed to stop and keep a proper distance and hit the back end of a Buick Encore, according to a Dayton Police Department spokesperson.

One person was taken to an area hospital to be evaluated for a possible injury.
