A 36-year-old woman told police at Miami Valley Hospital the oxymorphine and cocaine they found in her purse was for her boyfriend, a patient recovering from a heart attack.
Angela R. Harris is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felony drug possession.
Harris was visiting her boyfriend in his hospital room when a nurse notified police of seeing the drugs, according to the Dayton police report.
Harris told the officers the bag containing 12 grams of cocaine and 33 oxymorphine pills were among items that her boyfriend asked her to pick up from his house, according to the report.
Harris does not have any previous arrests from drug-related offenses.
