UPDATE @ 3:45 a.m.
Clayton police said shots were fired during a fight in the 6500 block of North Union Road prompting a ‘signal 99’ officer assistance call.
While police have yet to give an update on their investigation, a represenative from the 13 Stripes Bar and Grill told our newsroom they called police after they heard shots fired in a parking lot near the business.
It was unclear if there were any injuries in the event, but dispatchers said medics were not requested.
A call to Clayton Police for additional details was not immediately returned.

FIRST REPORT
Police and deputies from several jurisdictions in Montgomery County have responded to a ‘Signal 99’ officer assistance call in Clayton.
The call was requested around 2:20 a.m. by a Clayton police officer at the 13 Stripes Bar and Grill at 6556 North Union Road.
Reports indicate there was a fight with shots fired when the assistance call was made.
It wasn’t immediately known if any injuries were reported.
