Police have blocked off a portion of the first block of Margaret Street where the stabbing is believed to have occurred.
Officers have not given any official comment on the status of the investigation and the condition of the victim is unknown.

FIRST REPORT
Dayton police and medics have responded to a stabbing reported near Kroger on Wayne Avenue Sunday morning.
Crews responded near the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Wyoming Street around 5 a.m. after a man was reported stabbed in the back. Reports indicate the victim could have been stabbed at another location close to the grocery store before being located by medics and officers.
The victim has reportedly been transported to the hospital, but their condition is unknown.
