Police responded to a breaking and entering at Dayton Tool Crib on Needmore Road, after receiving an alarm call early Wednesday morning.
The store’s surveillance video captured an unknown man arriving in a white pickup truck with a tire rack and tool box in the truck bed.
The man struck the glass entrance door with a crowbar and entered the store. The video did not capture the man in the store, but two boxes were in his hands when he left, according to the report.
Surveillance video shows the man leaving the store and heading east on Needmore Road.
The man is described as wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and jeans.
It’s unknown what and how many items were taken from the store. However, the manager said less than $1,000 of merchandise was stolen from the business.
