MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 10:45 a.m. (July 9):
PipeStone Golf Course was allowed to reopen Thursday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week, according to a City of Miamisburg spokesperson.
The course was given clearance to reopen by Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County after the positive test prompted a two-day closure.
Golfers are required to wear a mask or type of facial covering when they are in the clubhouse, the spokesperson said.

FIRST REPORT (July 7):
The city of Miamisburg has temporarily closed Pipestone golf course after one of its employees has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a press release.
According to the city manager, the case was reported to the Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County and the agency has started contact tracing.

All other employees are being tested for COVID-19, and no other positive cases have been confirmed.
The course facilities are currently being disinfected.
City Manager Keith Johnson said reopening will be based on direction provided by Public Health.
“Our thoughts are with affected employee, of course, and we’re doing all we can to make sure reopening is safe for both staff and patrons,” said Johnson.
