Body cam video released after 2 women dressed as “grannies” denied second COVID-19 vaccine

ORANGE COUNTY, FL — Deputies in Florida have released body cam video after two women were trespassed from the Orange County Convention Center while attempting to get a second COVID-19 vaccine shot while dressed as old women, according to our sister station WFTV-TV.

The body cam video shows the two women dressed up “grannies,” including gloves and bonnets. WFTV-TV said the two women had valid vaccine cards from their first shot when they arrived at the convention center. The women were eventually denied the second shot because of issues with their ID cards, according to Orange County Health Officer Dr. Raul Pino.

Deputies said they are not sure if the women dressed as elderly women to get their first shot. According to WFTV-TV, the women were not only denied their second shot, but the case was turned over the local sheriff’s department.

The incident happened last Wednesday morning and deputies issued trespass warnings to the women, according to WFTV-TV. No other law enforcement action was taken, deputies said.
