The high reached 33 Thanksgiving afternoon. Only six Thanksgivings have failed to reach freezing in Dayton says Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jamie Simpson. It is still one of the ten coldest Thanksgivings on record here. There is a good chance the area will stay dry until next Wednesday or Thursday.
Thursday evening, overnight, skies clear as temperatures drop through the 20s if not into the upper teens in spots.
Friday, sunshine all day with perhaps a few high clouds toward sunset. Highs will rise back only into the mid-30s in the afternoon. Some thicker clouds will arrive overnight into Saturday morning.
Saturday, morning clouds in the mid-20s will give way to afternoon sun with a high back to 40.
Sunday & Monday, mostly cloudy both days with highs again near 40 after morning lows in the upper-20s to around 30. Later Sunday and Sunday night, there could be a sprinkle or flurry, but will be very light and spotty.
Tuesday, partly sunny with highs in the mid-40s.
There is a possibility of reaching 50 Wednesday with rain arriving later next week.
