Mainly clear skies are expected overnight, which will be cool with temperatures in the lower 40s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Ewell said. A few outlying areas to the north could dip into the upper 30s by morning.

Thursday: After a cool start, sunshine will quickly raise temperatures to near 70 degrees by late afternoon.

Friday: The day will start with plenty of sunshine but clouds will increase during the afternoon. A chance for showers will develop by late afternoon into the evening hours. Showers will be likely Friday night, especially south of Interstate 70. Highs will hold to around 70 degrees.

Saturday: Lots of clouds are expected with some peeks of sunshine from time to time. A few showers also will be possible with better chances in the morning. Temperatures will reach into the lower 70s.

Sunday: Skies will become mostly sunny with a warmer end to the weekend as highs reach into the middle 70s.

Monday: Sunny skies and higher temperatures will start the new workweek as temperatures climb into the upper 70s.
