The passion that the Flyer Faithful have for University of Dayton basketball games is equaled by their enthusiasm for the Red Scare team in The Basketball Tournament (aka TBT).
Fans who are unable to attend the games in person at the UD Arena will be able to listen to all games involving the Red Scare in the TBT quarters and semis on AM 1290 and 95.7 FM WHIO Radio and online via the WHIO Radio live stream.
The voice of the Flyers, Larry Hansgen says WHIO Radio is treating this like a regular Dayton Flyers broadcast, with a 30-minute pregame show including a scouting report of the Red Scare opponent and a pregame interview with Coach Joey Gruden.
The TBT fills a void in the summer for Dayton basketball fans, and this year it also fills a summer void for Dayton basketball broadcasters.
The Basketball Tournament takes place at UD Arena from Wednesday, July 26th through Monday, July 31st. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com
