Saturday’s UD women’s basketball game canceled due to Covid-19 cases within program

DAYTON — The University of Dayton women’s basketball team announced their game Saturday against the Richmond Spiders has been canceled due to Covid-19 cases within the Dayton program.

UD was scheduled to play the Spiders Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. at the UD Arena.

The game will be considered a no-contest and not be rescheduled, the school announced Friday.

Seeding for the Atlantic 10 women’s basketball tournament will be based on winning percentage.

The Flyers are scheduled to be back in action Wednesday, February 8, when they host Saint Louis at 11 a.m. at the UD Arena.
