DAYTON — Former Ohio State guard Tanner Holden has announced he is returning to Wright State.

He entered the transfer portal after one season at Ohio State after transferring from Wright State following the 2021-22 season.
Holden made the announcement on social media Tuesday.
“HOME 🐺” he wrote on Instagram.
Holden also posted the announcement on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

He played 27 games in a reserve role for the Buckeyes last season, averaging 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
During his three seasons in his first stint at Wright State, Holden averaged scoring over 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal a game.
He helped lead the Raiders to their first-ever NCAA Tournament win in 2022 against Bryant in the First Four in Dayton. Holden had a double-double in that game, 37 points and 11 rebounds.
Holden will be reunited with his backcourt mate, Trey Calvin, who announced in March he will return next season.
The Raiders went 18-15 last season.
