CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Reds pitcher Wade Miley threw a no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians Friday. The feat marks the 17th no-hitter in Reds franchise history.

Miley’s no-hitter also marks the fourth of the 2021 Major League season. According to CBS Sports, Miley joins Joe Musgrove of the San Diego Padres, Carlos Rodón of the Chicago White Sox and John Means of the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.

The left-hander struck out eight and gave up a lone walk in the sixth.

Miley becomes the 14th Cincinnati Reds pitcher to throw a no-hitter.

The last time a Reds pitcher pitched a no-hitter was in 2013, when Homer Bailey faced San Francisco Giants.
