A woman is in Montgomery County Jail after she allegedly fired at her boyfriend with a revolver while children were outside playing at a daycare across the street.
This happened Thursday afternoon.
Karen Crowder, 56, is in jail on charges of felonious assault after it was reported by her boyfriend, 62, that she had shot at him two different times over two days.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Alcott Avenue, where the victim reported the two had gotten into two different arguments over two days, both of which led to Crowder shooting at him.
The alleged victim told police that around 10 p.m. Wednesday he got into a verbal altercation with Crowder in the driveway. He did not call police after she fired a shot toward him.
On Thursday morning, the two argued again while drinking on the porch. A shot was again fired, missing the victim.
The daycare owner nearby told police that five children were playing volleyball in the front yard when Crowder fired in the victim's direction. One child told police she saw Crowder fire the shot.
