Easter will start off chilly with temperatures in the 40s and just a few light showers exiting the region early, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jesse Maag said.

Throughout the late morning and into the afternoon and evening, there will be a mix of sun and cloud. It will be warmer as temperatures climb into the middle 60s.

A light breeze will range from 5 to 10 mph.
Overall, weather conditions should be just fine for any outdoor Easter egg hunts. Clouds will return later in the day, but the chance for rain will remain low.
