The Mega Millions jackpot rose into the top 15 in the promotion’s history when numbers were drawn Tuesday night.
Tuesday’s winning numbers for the estimated $441 million jackpot were 31, 35, 53, 54 and 55, with a gold Mega ball of 24, lottery officials said. There was a 3X Megaplier.
The grand prize rose after no one matched the numbers in Friday’s drawing.
The last time the jackpot was won was on Jan. 31, when a ticket matched all of the numbers, lottery officials said.
The odds of winning the top prize in the Mega Millions lottery are 1 in 302,575,350. Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
