RICHMOND, IN — Part of a busy road in Richmond, Indiana will be closed due to construction later this month.

Starting June 19, road crews will alternate closing two lanes of traffic on Westbound U.S. 40 for a milling and paving project, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The project will be between N. 17th Street and S. 3rd Street.
One lane of WB U.S. 40 will stay open to motorists.
The nighttime work will take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., INDOT said.
The work is expected to be completed in mid-July, weather permitting.
