Busy roads in Preble County to be closed this month due to construction

PREBLE COUNTY — Traffic on busy roads in Preble County will be affected this month due to road work.

There are two projects on State Route 503 that will require parts of it to be closed, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Now until Friday, SR-503 will be closed between Falls and Prymont Roads to replace a culvert at the 16.8-mile maker.

Then starting Monday, June 12, road crews will return to SR-503 to replace a culvert between Prymont and Eaton-Lewisburg Roads and will be closed through June 23, ODOT said.

Drivers will be detoured by way of U.S. 35, U.S. 127, and Interstate 70.

All work will be contingent on the weather.
