This is being done, “in accordance with the orders issued by the President of the United States,” and honoring the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service, the release said.

DeWine is ordering flags be flown at half-staff at all public buildings and grounds from sunrise to sunset.

This weekend is the 41st Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend where they honor America’s fallen firefighters who died in the line of duty the previous year, according to their website.
