Deputies believe they have found the body of the man they had identified as a person of interest in a triple homicide in Washington County, Ind., according to a report from WLKY in Louisville.
According to the report, police received a tip that Richard Lee Burton’s vehicle was parked at the Blackwell Horse Camp in Monroe County.

WLKY reported that a body was recovered from the vehicle and authorities believe it is Burton’s body.
The Monroe County Coroner’s Office will release official identification.
INITIAL REPORT:
Police said they have identified a person of interest after three people were found dead inside a rural southern Indiana home Saturday afternoon.
The three victims were found dead inside a home on South Beck’s Mill Road in Washington County, Ind., about 14 miles south of Salem, Ind. the Indiana State Police said in a media release. Law enforcement was first requested to check the house after receiving a call to check on the welfare of the home’s occupants.

The identities of the victims and their cause of death were not released, pending autopsy results scheduled for Tuesday.

Indiana State Police said they are asking for the public’s help in finding 47-year-old Richard Lee Burton, Jr. who could have been involved with the deaths or might have information about what happened. Police said Burton was living at the home where the crime occurred.
Burton is described as a white male, long brown hair, sometimes worn in a ponytail, five-foot nine-inches tall, with blue eyes.
Police believe Burton could be heading towards Tennessee, Missouri, or Texas in a blue 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 extended cab pickup truck with Indiana license plate TK641MUK. The truck could have a black or dark blue camper shell over the bed.
Police urge anyone who sees Burton or his truck to contact 911 immediately.
Salem, Ind. is located about 100 miles south of Indianapolis, and about 40 miles north of Louisville.
