Plans for a riverfront park will go forward now that the city council on Tuesday night passed a revised package.
The move advances the plan and means work will begin this year.
The revised plan cuts $8 million from the current concept.
A city group had asked the city to scale back its $17 million plan at the park on the Great Miami River.
The revised concept eliminates plans for reshaping a levee as well as storing and launching kayaks on the northwest side of the park.
