Wright Brothers Middle School closes Friday after a pipe burst overnight, floods first floor

DAYTON — School was closed today for students who attend Wright Brothers Middle School after a broken pipe was discovered inside the building.

A pipe burst overnight sometime causing the first floor of the building to flood, according to Dayton Public Schools officials.

Crews are at the school now working to clean the area and assess the damage. School was closed today due to the flooding.

School officials say they will update the families on the situation once they learn more about the damage.
