WPAFB Thursday Weather: Sunny with highs in the mid-80s

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Another sunny day is expected today.

After a mild start, temperatures will climb quickly this afternoon. Eventual highs will be in the middle 80s, though some spots may get into the upper 80s, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

“While the humidity is not going to be as high as it will this weekend, we’ll still have enough to have heat index values near 90 at times this afternoon,” Collar said.

A few more daytime clouds are expected, but the sunshine is still expected to win out.
