Students return inside West Carrollton HS after threat prompts evacuation

WEST CARROLLTON — UPDATE: @ 11:40 a.m.: 

Students are being allowed back into West Carrollton High School over two hours after police began an investigation into a threat at the school, according to our crew on the scene.

According to police, the search of the building was completed and officers will continue to investigate the source of the threat.

We’ll continue to update this story as we learn more.

FIRST REPORT

West Carrollton High School has been evacuated for safety after the district received a threat, according to police.

“Students have been ushered to the stadium pending the all clear from law enforcement,” the district said.  “There are no concerns associated with any of our other schools.”

All staff and students are safe, police said.

Officers are conducting a complete search of the building.

Police responded to the school just after 9 a.m.
