The FOA-Link Support Network will provide one-on-one and nonjudgmental support to anyone touched by addiction.

“I am excited to support the population that FOA has been serving for a decade with our new program, FOA-LINK Support Network,” said Lori Erion, founder of FOA Families of Addicts. “What sets our service apart is the ability to provide ongoing support via voice, text or virtually, especially to our families that feel alone with no one to turn to.”

The warmline will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., there will be limited assistance available on weekends as necessary, the spokesperson said.

Individuals can call or text 567-FOA-LINK (567-362-5465) and a trained volunteer will follow up to provide assistance.

“This line can help with more than just linkage to treatment,” said Anita Kitchen, FOA Families of Addicts Executive Director. “It might just be a space for someone impacted by addiction to process or seek support.”

Volunteers will maintain regular contract with providers in the greater Miami Valley area to maintain up-to-date information on how to get access to treatment services.
