News Center 7 reached out to Walgreens for information on the decision to close the location, but has yet to hear back.
Walgreens told customers who had prescription records at the Salem Avenue location that they will now be able to get their prescriptons filled at another Walgreens, 4855 N. Main St., which is about 3.5 miles away from the Salem Avenue store.
