Thousands show up to Hispanic Heritage Festival in Dayton

Several thousands of people have showed up to the 18th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival at Riverscape, said Rachel Baney, Riverscape Program Coordinator.

PACO, the Puerto Rican, American & Caribbean Organization, has partnered with Five Rivers MetroParks and the United Rehabilitation Services to help educate and exposed multiple different aspects of the Hispanic cultures, said Vavquez, a volunteer for the festival.

The festival will go until 11:00 p.m. Saturday night, and will include dance and musical groups, activities, and food and merchandise vendors.

The following music groups will perform during the remainder of the festival:

  • John Del Piano y su URBachata at 7:20 p.m.
  • Al Son Del Iya at 8:30 p.m.
  • Rika Swing at 9:30 p.m.
