Victim in stabbing at Dayton bus stop says he was attacked after fending off dogs

UPDATE @ 8:11 p.m.: A man who identified himself as the victim told a 9-1-1 dispatcher he was stabbed by a male after fending off two dogs that ran at him.

He told the emergency dispatcher the dogs came at him, he picked up a knife and said he cut one of the dogs while defending himself. That’s when he was stabbed in the face (near an ear), he said.

He said he didn’t know his attacker.

One person has been taken to a hospital from a stabbing reported at a bus stop in the area of Danner Avenue and Germantown Pike (Ohio 4) in Dayton.

The incident was reported about 6:50 p.m.
